Last night, James casually mentioned, "You know, it's been about eleven days since you blogged. I'm sure people think I've killed you." I've had good blogging intentions, it's just that I've been swamped beyond belief.
In the last week and a half, we've been out of town twice to two different states, visited distant friends and family, picked up missing documentation for our adoption home study, changed the method by which I intended to homeschool, returned several school items I originally planned to use, purchased all the last of our curriculum (including the stuff I decided to switch to), wrote out our school plan and coordinated field trips and events for the next several weeks, bought and assembled new bookshelves and a TV unit, rearranged the game room and shifted furniture downstairs into our bedroom, reorganized our personal library, began reorganizing both kid's rooms, viewed the adoption informational DVD, confirmed our attendance at the education seminar (read: made a financial commitment), connected with a local social worker for the home study, celebrated Labor Day, met our potential new sister-in-law, caught up on TIVOed Big Brother, went to an Aggie football game, shuffled two kids to back-to-back and doubled-up soccer practices in preparation for season kickoff this weekend, began my own French class by completing both written and oral assignments, and started homeschooling. Whew!
I have several posts with pictures coming, but I'm on my way out the door to a planning meeting for a local homeschool group. In the meantime, please be assured that I am indeed still alive, and missing each one of you (and your blogs) terribly.

I missed you! I was wondering where you were!! I'm glad everything is okay :):)
Wow, I'm tired just reading that. The stuff you get done amazes me. James is right - I had him pegged as the culprit for your lack of blogging.
Hope you managed to schedule Lunch Bunch in tomorrow.
And its only September! Just wait till December, when we have Christmas to think about! Hope you are enjoying homeschooling! We started yesterday.
I'm so glad you haven't spontaneously combusted! Which curriculum did you decide to go with? And why, if you don't mind my asking. I'm in the process of trying to sort things out for Ethan. You have inspired me!
Mystery solved!!!
I too am amazed at the stuff you get done....it makes my head spin :)
I guess I can call off the search party? Any time for coffee in that busy schedule of yours?
Glad to know all is well. I totally got you on Big Brother. I'm glad you watch it too. We will have to watch it on Sunday after I get there (if I'm not there in time). You are going to have to send me updates too because I have heard we can't watch it on the net over in Germany. What am I going to do?! I noticed that you sound as busy as I should be. I know I'll be going crazy in a day or two. Can't wait to see you!
yeah, welcome back, you have been missed!! I hope that you are coming tomorrow so that we can catch up a bit. Your life is pretty interesting these days.
Glad you are among the bloggers again!
So you are still around!! You can disregard my recent e-mail where I was looking for you. GLod to know you are well and busy getting so much done - yeah you!!
Nothing going on at your house. Bummer.
Miss you too.
So, has lunch bunch made a new appearance on the scene? Noticed Randi's comment.
Hey girl! Welcome back! :-) You have been missed in the blogging world for sure. You've been so stinking busy!
Welcome back. Missed you - but totally exhausted after reading all you've done!
I was wondering where you had gotten to.
