Pseudo Summer

We're back from our pseudo summer at the hotel, where we had a great time. The kids really enjoyed swimming, and James really enjoyed making fun of me after I flew from the hot tub into the pool during what appeared in my peripheral vision to be a drowning incident. As it turns out, (1) I can actually fly, and (2) one should not fly to save their son from drowning without looking directly at them first. Apparently, seven-year-old boys flail about in the water without the threat of death being involved.

We're now preparing mentally for school to start in the morning, though fortunately, I'll have one more week at home alone. (My classes begin on the 14th.) Happy back to school, everyone!
