A marathon of painting, cleaning, decorating, curtain hanging, shopping, cooking, cleaning again, baking, homework, more shopping, more cooking, entertaining, and board game playing has all come to an end. We've had eighteen people in and out over the last three days, and I'm exhausted from all the fun. The last of the house guests are sleeping now and leave in the morning (my brother, sister-in-law, and niece remain, but they are more fixtures than guests).Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas season has officially begun.
It's midnight and I'm off to begin shopping.
