"The roses, the lovely notes, the dining and dancing are all welcome and splendid. But when the Godiva is gone, the gift of real love is having someone who'll go the distance with you. Someone who, when the wedding day limo breaks down, is willing to share a seat on the bus."
~ Oprah Winfrey
O Magazine, Feb. 2004
My Valentine's bouquet is at its loveliest point, in those beautiful last days before deterioration. The blooms are swollen and deeper in hue, the floral perfume is more fragrant than ever. Thank you, my darling, for this gift of love, and for the gift of real love we share every day. I'm so glad you are mine...
Gorgeous colors. And great quote - somewhat comical, coming from Oprah, who denounces the institute of marriage.
I know -- right? Someone else probably wrote it, but Oprah's name went on it since it's in her magazine and all... :) I imagine if you're a bazillionaire, few people complain if you plagiarize, that is, unless you're Jessica Seinfeld.
Beautiful; all of it!
I love the new header pic too.
I love that quote, it is so true!
Those flowers are beautiful. I am a fan of adding a little spice to a boquet and not just having 12 of the same kind of flower.
These are beautiful. I love colorful flowers!
