Remember when the dog ate my planner? Remember how upset I was? Remember how insensitively my husband responded until I suggested he imagine his Blackberry passing through the dog's lower intestine?
He doesn't have to imagine anymore.
After 15 minutes of being left alone downstairs last night,
the dog turned what should have been this:
into this:
Fortunately, we carry insurance on our cell phones, so instead of having to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for a replacement cell phone, we pay a small deductible to have a new one shipped directly to our home. Unfortunately, the replacement phone will not arrive before James leaves town for a few days to meet a client in the upper Midwest, leaving behind his very pregnant wife. Needless to say, he is a wee bit stressed out.
I hope the dog survives.

Poor James! You know... I've got a tip for you: NEVER leave a PUPPY unattended, unless they are in a crate!! lol My boys have learned that one the hard way too...
Yikes. Ours have never eaten a cell phone but the bulldog ate Phil's glasses one time. We'll pray that everything's perfect at home while James is cellphone-less this week.
wow.....the dog really did a number on James' phone - that is pretty impressive. I hope James survives his trip living in the dark ages without his cell phone.
Let it be known that I shall not live in the dark ages. The dinosaur like Blackberry 8703E lives and will pass as a temp while I am on the road this week. Though it looks like a brick, it will get the job done (I think).
James, you crack me up! Aaron and I came across several of our "old" cell phones this weekend. It's amazing how old they all look. We saw a program, and they just happen to show a phone from the early 90s. Now THAT was a brick.
I think this proves karma.
Poor puppy. He just wants you guys to stay home all of the time. :)
Wow oh wow. True empathy at last.
