I have been absent from this blog for a number of reasons, but I've been blogging elsewhere for part of that time. I needed some privacy. I have, however, copied, pasted and backdated some of the more important content here as a link list, which should provide some explanation:
Plague (November 10, 2009)
Face-to-Face (November 12, 2009)
Born Again (November 13, 2009)
Battery (November 19, 2009)
While I will continue to blog somewhere, I am undecided about the long-term future of this blog in particular. Time slips away from me and blogging falls low on my present priority list. But I'm here today, and as Dale Carnegie said, "Today is life - the only life you are sure of. Make the most of today." Translation: enjoy this post because who knows when or if I'll ever blog again. :) Also, click over to check out a new project I'm working on, a project born out of necessity, the necessity that stems from my November wake up call. the budget organic (I imagine I'll be as infrequent a blogger there too, so don't get your hopes up. Ha!)

I wondered what had happened! so sorry you are thinking of discontinuing!
Oh, friend... I had to stop everything so I could read your posts... hanging on to every word and praying for a positive outcome. I'm so sorry you've been going through all of this. Isn't it a mother's tendency to just think worst case senario? My brother-in-law is a GI and he has told us so many stories similar to yours. Praying for you!
Miss your blog so much!
