Practice Makes Perfect

For the first time ever, we are the parents of two soccer players. The ballet/tap class Gracie took all last year was the only organized activity she's ever done. Bub, however, has been on two different soccer teams, and has played football and t-ball, and every single team has ever been on has seriously been like the Bad News Bears.

This year, they both opted for soccer, so we took a chance and signed them up with the local league. Both kids are on really good teams (teams that we'll want to stick with), and we've found ourselves at back-to-back, doubled-up practices intensely preparing for the season opener.
