BlogHer and a Brief Survey

As you can see, I've joined the BlogHer Ad Network. When I wrote about raising money for water some weeks ago, a commenter suggested that I monetize my blog -- you know, add sponsorship. I'm not completely sure how it all works, but decided to take her advice and do so now, primarily to see what (if any) sort of revenue could be generated from the dribble that I write. Whatever monies that come from advertising here will go straight back into the Mission: Water for Life fund. I'll report how it works out.

I chose BlogHer because of their good reputation and because they seem to be more particular about the sort of advertising they place on blogs. I'm confident the ads they place here will be quality and without questionable content. At the moment, however, my ads are a bit of a mess. Please be patient as I figure out how to make the code work within my sort-of customized blog. When I'm able to get it up and running, watch for this:
